We will be focusing on how you can track what is happening with your hormones with a view to making the most of the high energy phases, helping you stabilise your moods and energy levels during the tough patches and help you keep a consistent exercise routine throughout the whole month.
I am qualified in exercise programming for perimenopause, post menopause, and pre and post natal.
I have a particular interest in the use of exercise to stabilise hormonal side effects such as mood, metabolism, lean muscle tissue loss, central adeposity (weight gain around the abdomen) and bone density.
Many of the mainstream exercise programmes and diets have been based on scientific studies involving data which is skewed towards men. I would like to help women train in a way which is more focused on the needs of the female physiology and mindset.
