Somatics
with Sarah Aarons
Somatic exercise is movement which helps you with your mind body connection. It is movement which is designed to assist with regulating emotions and focuses on making you feel good, rather than movement which focuses on physical goals such as weight loss or strength gain. Somatic movement can also be very beneficial for regulating your nervous system.
This is suitable for all fitness levels due to the low intensity, and is possible to do if working with some injuries. Please get in touch if you are unsure if this is suitable for you. This class is a mix of standing and mat based movement, however if getting down to the floor is not possible for you, a seated version is also possible.
Sound Bath
with Laura Devonshire
Working with the vibrational frequencies of Himalayan and Crystal Singing Bowls, Gong, Shamanic Drum and Koshi Chimes to encourage equilibrium in the cells, tissues and organs of the whole body. A deeply relaxing sound and meditation journey to leave your mind body and soul feeling deeply rested, rejuvenated and revitalised.
We will provide yoga mats, blankets and herbal tea. However if you have your own yoga mat you would prefer to use please bring that along. To be really comfortable during the sound bath please bring...
- warm layers and comgy socks to put over your fitness gear as your temperature may fluctuate
- blanket and cushions to support your lower back/head as required
- eye pillow/eye mask if available
